The hardware design of the SmartLock G2
protection lock changes the previous product SmartLock USB with the
8-bit MCU hardware design to uses the 64-bit MCU for development. The
new SmartLock G2 hardware lock
developed by 64 bits MCU has better execution performance and data
security.
McAMOS Technology has obtained the customer experience and suggestions
of the previous version of SmartLock USB and strengthened the
functionality and security of the product to meet the real product needs
of customers so SmartLock G2 will
bring more benefits to customers.
In order to improve the data security of the
SmartLock G2 software protection lock, the encryption data
package transmission design is adopted in the MCU firmware design part.
When the protected application calls the function to transmit the data
packet, each time it is encrypted and then transmitted to the hardware.
The firmware program will decrypt the encrypted data package and
execution.
This transmission method prevents the hacker to get the contents of the
data packets, then use a simulator to instate of USB API call functions.
This way will prevent the hacking software from broke USB protection
function.
In terms of data storage space requirements, the
SmartLock G2 hardware lock increases
the memory storage space to 2048 bytes, allowing software engineers to
have more storage space to increase the flexibility of software
protection.
